Recently, the 13th Annual Conference of the Asian Criminological Society (ACS) was held in India. Distinguished Professor Jianhong Liu from Faculty of Law, University of Macau (UM) was recently invited to deliver a keynote speech online, titled ‘Asian Criminology: Elaborating the Concepts, Approach, Paradigm, and Its Future’ at the conference. Prof Liu is the chairman of the General Assembly of the ACS. His presentation was focused on Asian Criminology, including its mission, concepts, approach, paradigm, and future direction, which was highly praised by the experts and scholars.
This year’s conference was jointly organized by Asian Criminological Society and Gujarat National Law University. The theme of which was ‘Emerging Trends in Technology and its Impact on Law, Criminal Justice and Public Policy’. The event attracted more than 450 scholars around the world.
