Hosted by the Guangdong Province Law Association, specifically held by the ICT Law Society of Guangdong Province, Law School of South China Normal University, Artificial Intelligence Law Application Research Center of South China Normal University. The first “Xiao Bao Gong Cup”, an essay competition on Legal Empirical Analysis of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau College Students, has finished successfully recently. The FLL of the University of Macau paid close attention towards this competition and actively persuaded students to participate in, the FLL received an Outstanding Organization Award. Master students Zheng Mengmeng and Tao Linbo won the second prize in the postgraduate category of the essay competition, while Tang Ming won the third prize.
On December 11th, the award ceremony and the Youth Forum about the Practice and Development of the Rule of Law in China were held in Guangzhou. Zheng Mengmeng, a master student from the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau, as a representative of prize winners, shared her gains in this competition and attended the meeting. Later, she was interviewed by the Guangdong TV station news media.
Based on Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, the “Xiao Bao Gong Cup” is open to the whole country. A total of 514 papers were submitted from universities across the country, including Macau Special Administrative Region and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. After duplicate checking and reviews, 25 papers written by postgraduate students were finally selected. This competition strengthened the communication between law schools in the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau, providing an important way for the exchange of legal youth.
